Super Tuesday: Not as super as in the past.

Super Tuesday is today, but there are only ten states voting, which is less then recent primaries. But that said, 10% of the delegates are being given out. Some of Romney's big loses are being brushed away because if his wins in Michigan, Arizona and Washington, and it will be interesting to see if he comes out of Super Tuesday on top.

  1. A lot of the predicted results were pretty much dead on. Ron Paul needs to face reality and say "hey the race was fun but i'm all out of gas". Romney's been taking a few tumbles down the hill but he continues to gain momentum and hopefully that will push him further and further in a positive manner. Who's going to drop out besides Paul will continue to be a mystery. Hopefully Romney…#woops

  2. Definitely not the super Tuesday that the Republicans were hoping for. It is still a race between Romney and Santorum, and it seems like for some reason Gingrich still won't give up. Obama is sitting in the oval office having the time of his life right now and planning the first presidential vacation his family will take in 2013. As these candidates keep fighting each other, Obama has nothing to worry about. It's probably even worse that Romney only won Ohio by 1% because now Santorum can see the finish, and he thinks its waiting for him.

  3. I agree with Jim, this was not the kind of super Tuesday republicans were hoping for. I think that they wanted to see this race become more decisive, but it only got closer. With republicans beating each other up like this, I'm sure Obama is measuring the Oval Office to see if he can add a pool table he can enjoy for the next four years.

  4. I disagree. The competitions were close, yes, but if you look at the delegates, Romney totally proved himself. He has over 400 delegates, while the man in 2nd (Santorum) only has about 139 i believe. It wasnt as super as everyone wanted, but by Romney winning 6, it really helped

  5. Paul is done. Gingrich is done. Santorum is done. They should all just drop out now and save their money. Romney should probably just drop out too but that's a little unrealistic. Romney and Santorum may be close now but I think Santorum is going to lose a lot of his momentum and Romney will push through. Granted, it will be a relatively close race between the two but ultimately it will be Romney.

  6. Yeah even though it's been pretty close so far, I think Romney has the guaranteed nomination. Santorum is certainly putting up a good fight, but I don't get what Paul and Gingrich are still trying to do. Maybe Paul's just trying to pull a Nadar and use the nomination as a talking platform. And Gingrich... he should ditch the nomination faster than he ditched his first two wives.

  7. Paul and Gingrich are still running for nominee, why? No one knows. I agree with Alex and Jim though, super Tuesday definitely didn't turn out how republicans hoped it would. Things are just looking better and better for Obama every day.

  8. I think it makes sense that Ron Paul is still running because he isn't trying to win...I think he is just trying to get the public familiarized with his policies. I think that Romney still needs to prove himself inorder for him to be the clearcut candidate. Right now the the skepticism about Romney is resulting in Santorum gaining votes.

  9. A lot of crazy stuff going on super tuesday. A lot of surprises if you ask me. Ron Paul is just hanging around just to get his points across the public and Gingrich is just wasting his time at this point. This is definitely not what the republicans wanted and this is just helping out Obama as he planes everything out for his up coming campaign.
