Obama speaking about the Shooting in Connecticut

This was very moving to me and I hope many of you will feel the same. Obama did a great job with this speech. I felt this was worth sharing.

  1. I thought Obama's speech was very appropriate considering the conditions. He seems to be performing the role of "consoler in chief" well.

  2. I really though Obama's speech was very moving. He showed true compassion and remorse, while also hinting a little anger. He definitively knows that there is going to have to be some major gun control reform to help prevent tragedies like these from happening again. This speech will be very much remembered in the future, when we look back at this terrible tragedy.

  3. It's hard to imagine that his moving speech did not strike the hearts of every citizen in America, or anyone for that matter. He seemed to speak, like he said, more as a parent than a president, and he appeared to get choked up at points. This was a time when his consolation was most needed by a group in Connecticut as well as the entire U.S.
