Hackers attack Westboro Baptist Church for picketing Sandy Hook

This is just sickening.  The Westboro Baptist Church said they are going to protest at the children's funerals in Connecticut.  I am beyond words for just how furious and upset this makes me.  They are going to take those signs and disgusting beliefs of theirs and just go and say that those children deserved to die? I think people have rights yes, but that is just rude and ignorant of other peoples feelings.  I for one am actually extremely happy the hackers decided to go after them for being so crude.  People like this slander other Americans and are more trouble then they are worth. I am just speechless at this still and I have no clue how I could even put this kindly because I honestly do not think I could be nice to these people under any curcumstance.

  1. I really have nothing kind to say to this. I am holding myself back with what I could say honestly. If I was the mother of one of those children, I would call the police and tell them to leave. That is just disrespectful and everyone knows it. I hate these people. Do they not realize how terrible they are being? Do they not have hearts to these types of matters? They are just the pathetic, low scum of America.

  2. Is there honestly anything to say? It's a disgrace and one of the times I am truly frustrated with the first amendment.

  3. I totally agree how terrible and sickening this is. I agree with Talia that this is just as bad as them protesting at soldier's funerals. I am all for the 1st amendment rights but this is just wrong. I don't know exactly what can be done about this, because technically they are not breaking any laws, but still something needs to be done to prevent them from doing this kind of thing again.

  4. This is one example where the first amendment falls short. I don't understand, nor do I think I ever will, how someone could hear about the tragedy that took place at Sandy Hook and come away from it with the belief that it was deserved. No one has the right to decide who lives and who does not. I wonder if the church members would be protesting if they actually had a personal connection to any of the victims.
