Romney's insult to women on equal pay

Romney's insult to women on equal pay is an alarming article because this conflict could possibly lose Romney a lot of votes. When asked if women should be paid as equal as men, Romney and his team of advisers drew a blank and asked if they could "get back to them". What do you all think about this article?    I personally think that it was more disrespectful to women to not have an answer than to oppose the bill.

  1. Way to go Mitt. Baseball fired at you and well you couldn't handle the heat of that one…You and your team will have to get back her on that one…? I'm definitely sure his likeliness of getting voter for by women just got shot down the garbage disposal. Couldn't he have just lied about it until he got elected. I'm sure your wife loves you.

  2. Good Lord Mitt... why Mr. Romney would ever think to respond to a question like that is beyond me.. Im surprised Rubio had nothing smart in return to say and I don't mean that sarcastically. Mrs. Johnston (Garretts mom) is gonna pissssssed.

  3. "He still wouldn't give a straight answer, saying that he had no "intention of changing that law." In other words, he ducked the question." That's not ducking the question...Romney has said on several instances that he supports the equal pay of women if they do the exact same work as men. He even said it at the rally that Dan and I were at, which apparently this interview was after.

  4. I agree with GarrettTheStaunch in that he did duck the question, but in ducking it he still made a mistake. The slip of the tongue or whatever you want to call it could lose him a good handful of votes, crucial votes that may decide the election.

  5. Not answering the question is equally as bad as answering the question with an answer he knows the public wouldn't like. So did he not answer because he didn't want to share his opinion and lose support? Definitely not a good move on Mit's part.
