New Evidence Cited in Secret Service Prostitution Inquiry
11 Secret Service members were charged with misconduct involving prostitutes. This is worrying for our nation's safety, for the Secret Service's dedication the President is what keepshimalive. This lack of discipline by military members is unacceptable, I just hope it isn't as widespread as it appears.

This problem came to the surface because of a payment problem? Wow. You don't question the price…especially in those circumstances. I doubt these prostitutes or "escorts" as they label themselves cause any form of trouble towards the security of the president or the country as Ms. Collins had thought. This definitely makes a few people look pretty bad but honestly this is nothing extreme. Should've paid the woman the right price form the beginning…
ReplyDeleteHow did 11 officers do this? If I wanted to kill the president, that would have been the perfect time... 11 of his security team would be drunk and out and have no ability to do their job. I hope that these men lose their jobs because hey are doing it totally wrong. Prostitution is also never the way to go. I mean these men were probably big, strong men. A lot of women in America would probably drool over the secret service.
ReplyDeleteThis is extremely disappointing to me as an American. This is what gives other countries like France material to make fun of us. I hope that all of these officers were castrated and fired because they put our president in danger.
ReplyDeleteI don't really think this that big of a deal. I'll bet two of thirds of Congress has had a prostitute in the last week. These Secret Service members deserve to be punished for misconduct and irresponsiblity, but this isn't a national crisis. They're human beings with sexual inclinations. People just get all self-righteous about this stuff to try to distinguish themselves as "good people," because to vehemently dissaprove of a prostitution scandal, no matter how innocuous, is to be a "good person." This kind of scandal generates national interest because it humanizes those who we believed to be a higher authority, not necessarily because it's important at all.
ReplyDeleteI really don't know how to respond to this because I part of me feels like this was a very poor choice and a situation like this could have put the president in danger because what if the prostitutes hated Obama and decided that they were going to try and kill him? but the other side of me is just thinking well.. these secret service guys were bored and had desires that need fulfillment and thats all.. Regardless I don't think this should be some huge wide spread national media crisis.
ReplyDeleteThis is kind of disappointing... It's not the biggest deal, but it could have been if one of the prostitutes decided to do something bad and take advantage of being with the secret service, and they could have harmed the president. The secret service members did deserve to be punished, but this didn't need to be some big huge deal.
