Ron Paul VOWS to push through.

So I was just skimming over some articles and saw this.... "From Nevada, Paul Vows to Push Ahead." I actually "loled" when I read this. It's a short article so I wont say much. Ron Paul vowed to Nevada supporters that he will push AHEAD through the primary. No one even likes Nevada.

  1. Well… I think there's a reason as to why you're aren't the lead dog of the pack right now Ron. Respectable man for hitting up Ron Paul and giving him e a congratulations for the victory in Florida but some spunk to add " I will see you through". "President Paul!". If the same themes are going to energize his people by all mean do what you have to do but I'm thinking soon it might get a bit old. I think someone should recommend for him to start singing a patriotic tune..Why Not? It worked for Mitt to an extent

  2. Interesting move from Paul. His views are certainly a bit extreme and slightly unorthodox, which makes him a slightly less legitimate candidate. But, it seems like people tend to agree with his fundamental belief that government has too much power. It will be interesting to see if that basic belief will be enough to overpower his extremism and make him a legitimate candidate.

  3. That is a very bold statement by Ron Paul. He "vows" to push through and see it till the end, but at the looks of it, it looks like he will just be wasting his money on a campaign that is going no where. Romney seems to be running away the votes and that Paul is going to have a very tough time "pushing through".

  4. Ron Paul needs to check in with reality. First, we're not going to back to the gold standard. That's not only stupid, but it's keeping him from attracting a legitimate following. Second, he needs to understand that he has no chance of winning this race and might as well stop now. Ron Paul is being fooled by these rallies where he speaks to raucous applause and admiration. Nobody is more ardent than the supporters of Ron Paul, and nobody is more excited about a candidate than those supporters. This is because his policies are so extreme, so the people that like them will really like them. But there are not nearly enough of them for Ron Paul to seriously compete in this election.

  5. Ron Paul is just enjoying the attention. He is still getting a percentage of voters and campaign contributions. As long as there are still some people supporting him I think that Ron Paul would consider running as a third party candidate. Ron Paul does not have a shot at winning the presidency but he is still pushing his agenda. As long as someone is listening Ron Paul will continue to hang around.

  7. Bold. and stupid. You can't vow to do anything without even winning anything. You can't even vow to pull through even if your name is Mitt Romney. This was just stupid and I can't understand why Paul thought it was smart to say this.

  8. Ron Paul needs to understand that he is not going to win this race. He may still be getting some voters and may still be getting campaign contributions, but he is not a legitimate candidate for this presidential election. People may support him in that he believes that government has too much power, but that isn't going to bring him to the top of the race.

  9. I'm not sure what was going through Paul's head when he thought that it was a good idea to say that he will push through the primary. I keep forgetting that he's even in the race because he's so behind Gingrich and Romney. At this point, I don't see anybody getting ahead of Gingrich or Romney so they might as well drop out.

  10. I don't think anyone thinks that Ron Paul is lying when he says this. He definitely intends to stay in this race and spread his message. Obviously he's not going to win the candidacy but he's just doing this for the political exposure. The worst thing that could happen for the Republicans is if Ron Paul runs for president as an independent. That would essentially split the Republican support to some degree and give Obama an easy win.

  11. I respect Ron Paul's decision to stay in the Republican Primaries. He obviously feels strongly about his political policies, and he wants to stay in the race to get his messages across to people and hopefully expose new ideas. I think Ron understands that he is not going to win the race.
