Romney Downplays the Killing of Osama
It is true that anyone President could have given the order to kill for he is not the one pulling the trigger. It took some guts however to do it with out much notice to the people and it took him several years of work to find out where he was living and the best way to take him out. It took guts to put men on the line and his job. If the mission was unsuccessful he would have been slaughtered by the media, but he took a risk and high risk can have high reward.

Well Romney said that if he was president and had the same resources of Obama that he too would go after Osama. However, in 2007 he said the following statement, “It’s not worth moving heaven and earth and spending billions of dollars just trying to catch one person.” Im sorry Romney but again things you have said in the past have resurfaced.
ReplyDeleteI OBAMA DID IT. I DEFEATED OSAMA. something to boast about? absolutely. However what if all didn't go as planned? That could've been possibly an issue…Dear Romney, Obama is not Carter…his mission failed..and Obama's didn't..so stop comparing the two. Yes this was a great act, yet how long are we going to celebrate?
ReplyDeleteThere's no doubt that the killing of Osama wasn't a monumental achievement. Having said that it should be something we as Americans should rally TOGETHER behind. It baffles me that politicians are even talking about this. There's no way to take what Obama did away from him. Would other people have made the same decision if they could've? Probably yes, but there's no true way of knowing that so people should just keep their mouths shut about it and use it as common ground for Americans to come together on.
ReplyDeleteObama's mission of killing Osama was certainly a hell of an achievement...why is Romney bringing up this topic for debate? Obama was the president who made it happen, so he deserves the credit for it.

ReplyDeleteDid Obama kill Osama? No. Seal Team 6 did. It just happened while Obama was President. Did Obama give them the order? Yes. Was it risky? Yes. But Bush was the one that put the search on for Osama, and it just wasnt able to be completed during his presidency, not because Bush didnt do the right things, but because Pakistan was hiding him. Any president, whether it be Bush, Obama, Romney, or Clinton, anyone would have made that call to invade to kill Osama. Everyone is just making a big deal out of it because it's one of the few things Obama can brag about during his presidency. Think about it: the economy is still in the shitter, unemployment is still rising...BUT HEY, i got Osama! All that Romney is saying is that those things are more important than getting Osama. Country first.
ReplyDeleteYeah I don't really see how killing Osama should be a topic of debate or issue in this political election. I think it's pretty obvious that it's a huge event for our country. This event was so big for our country that people could rally around the cause, which certainly would be good for the country. No reason for Romney to bash this monumental event.
ReplyDeleteAll of America loved Obama the day Seal Team 6 came back from their famous mission, even Republicans. Mitt is just mad because he can't beat something like that because the only terrorist he probably ever caught in Massachusetts was some kid bullying him on the playground.
